Tell me more about the Guildmaster Upgrade Packs
The packs will contain additional influence/goodwill tokens in plastic and cardboard; you’ll get 2x as many “1” tokens as are in the Guildmaster base game.
You’ll also get a embroidered cloth bag to replace the leatherette bag. The leatherette bag works fine, but the letters on the bag are peeling off for too many customers and we’ve decided to replace leatherette with cloth for future production runs of this game.
You can get the Upgrade Pack via this Kickstarter, or you can order the components directly from our website as soon as they are available.

What are the full components of the Guildmaster Reward?
The Guildmaster Reward includes all the Locations, cards, figures, tokens, etc. from the first Kickstarter, including all Kickstarter Exclusive content. It includes the base game components (starting Guild and Neutral cards, player boards, main and extension boards, etc.), and 37 Locations and associated Contact/Threat cards. These units are identical to those produced for the 1st Kickstarter.

Sands of Dunestar includes 12 Locations and associated Contact/Threat cards, plus a 13th Location and Contact/Threats that is Kickstarter Exclusive. It also includes a sheet of cardboard Pit Fighter tokens, and a rulebook / player’s guide book.

What are the full components of Cliffs of Coldharbor?
Cliffs of Coldharbor consists of 12 Locations and associated Contact/Threat cards and a rulebook / player’s guide.
You will also receive the Guildmaster Upgrade Pack which consists of a set of plastic and cardboard influence/goodwill tokens (2x the number in the Guildmaster base game), and a cloth Threat Bag to replace the Leatherette Threat Bag.
When the Stretch Goal for this campaign is reached you will also receive the Advanced Guild Pack, which consists of 4 double-sided Locations, and a new set of Citizens & Patrician contact/threat cards.

I’m not in the United States, Canada, or the EU (plus Switzerland, Norway and the UK), can I order the Expedited Reward?
You can but you have to have your delivery made to an address inside one of the listed countries. To facilitate a smooth fulfillment of Rewards you’ll have to use the same country of delivery for the Expedited and non-Expedited parts of your order.

What stretch goals do you have planned?
This campaign has one Stretch Goal. At $400,000 the backers will unlock the Advanced Guild Packs content which will be added to all Cliffs of Coldharbor components and every Reward which includes the Cliffs of Coldharbor.

When will I get the game?
Expedited Guildmaster base games (and other Expedited content that you may order) will be delivered in November of this year. The rest of the content including the Cliffs of Coldharbor will be delivered in September of 2020.

Will you ship “EU Friendly”?
We will ship the products into Europe to our Depot with all customs and duties prepaid. You should receive your order without having to pay any additional fees to your local government customs office.

Is VAT included?
We will ship to EU addresses from an EU depot. If for some reason your locality requires you to pay a tax or fee beyond that paid when the products were imported into the EU to receive such shipments those costs must be paid by you. We cannot guarantee that there will be no such cost but we plan to use a shipment system similar to that used by most successful EU friendly Kickstarters so if you have in the past received such packages without extra costs you should receive ours without those costs too.

Due to the high cost of production of Edge of Darkness we do not currently sell these components through wholesalers. We have run several retailer promotions for Edge of Darkness in the past and we may do so again in the future. Will “Kickstarter Exclusive” material ever be sold again?
We may create alternate art versions of some cards and components in Kickstarter Exclusive content for sale at a later date, but we will not sell the exact same content you got as a Kickstarter Exclusive in another product outside of Kickstarter, via our online store, or at conventions where we’re selling our own products.

Will I have access to the Pledge Manager if I didn't select a Reward? What if I pledge $1?
Yes, but at the end of the campaign we will cancel and refund your pledge. You will be able to get the same prices and options as Kickstarter backers in the Pledge Manager but you won’t be able to post comments on Kickstarter and the project will not appear in your list of backed projects.

What is the Pledge Manager? Can I manage Add-Ons and multiple Rewards with it? Can I upgrade my Reward with it?
The Pledge Manager is a tool that we will use after the Kickstarter campaign has ended to finalize your order. You will be sent a link to the Pledge Manager via the email address you have registered with Kickstarter. The Pledge Manager will allow you to upgrade your pledge, select Add-Ons, and calculate shipping costs. You’ll be able to add additional Rewards to your order as well. We expect to open the Pledge Manager two to three weeks after the campaign ends.

Exactly how many Premium Sleeves will be necessary to sleeve all the cards?
You don’t sleeve the cards in Edge of Darkness - that’s a part of the game mechanics!
The game comes with 50 Tarot-sized Premium Sleeves. You’ll use about half of them to play and have extras if you need replacements. To be sure you never run out you can order the Extra-extra Premium Sleeves as an add-on. These sleeves can also be used with our other Tarot-sized games like Mystic Vale and Valley of the Kings Premium.
There are no components in Edge of Darkness that should be sleeved for storage.

What is your refund policy?
We offer a no-questions-asked refund policy. You can get a 100% refund within 10 days of the close of the campaign. Thereafter we can refund 92% of your pledge (a full refund minus the Kickstarter and payment processing fees we cannot recover). You can request a refund any time before your Reward is shipped.

How does this game connect with Mystic Vale?
The two games are in the same world but are not mechanically connected. You can’t use Mystic Vale components with Edge of Darkness or vice-versa.

Will there be non-English versions of the Game?
At this time we do not have any plans to produce non-English versions of the game. If we do develop a non-English version we will announce it on the Edge of Darkness page on alderac.com but those languages won’t be a part of this Kickstarter.

Will there be a Bane of the Blight “all in” Reward?
Probably! We add these types of Rewards at the end of the Campaign as we start the final few days. If one is added you’ll be able to upgrade to it in the Pledge Manager if you miss the chance to upgrade during the campaign; and if one is added we’ll explain how it will interact with Expedited Rewards at the same time.

Will the Cliffs of Coldharbor fit into the Guildmaster Box?
Yes! If you set up the box so that you use the Locations as dividers for the contact/threat cards and keep them all in the center white box, there is room for the Cliffs of Coldharbor and Sands of Dunestar!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
