Emissaries of the Vale is on deck

As a previous back of an Edge of Darkness campaing, I wanted to let you know that Emissaries of the Vale, the latest expansion to Edge of Darkness, is coming to Kickstarter next Tuesday! This expansion is the culmination of the first great Edge of Darkness story arch and brings the game in many ways back to its roots. Let me explain…
When John D Clair originally pitched card crafting to us at AEG, that game was Edge of Darkness. We loved the idea, but thought the game was too big to be the first card crafting game. We wanted to teach players what card crafting was before unleashing Edge of Darkness on them. So John D Clair went and designed Mystic Vale, which we released as our first card crafting game.
Mystic Vale went on to be one of our best selling games. All the while John D Clair kept working on Edge of Darkness. Because of their shared lineage, it was decided that Mystic Vale and Edge of Darkness would share a game world. Edge of Darkness is about a single city and Mystic Vale is about druids in nature, so the idea was that while both are taking place in the same game world, the two locations were either far apart or not in communication for some reason.
As Edge of Darkness got further developed, we had to figure out how to handle expansions. In the end, we decided on 4 releases, each themed after a specific location and a season; Base Game - Fall, Dunestar - Summer, Coldharbor - Winter, and for Spring we decided to bring the entire process full circle and connect the lands of the Mystic Vale to Aegis.
And that is what we will be launching on Tuesday - Emissaries of the Vale. In this release, your guild will travel to the Mystic Vale and help them fight back the blight. You’ll need to learn druidic magic (a new mechanic) if you hope to help the druids against the onslaught of twisted creatures and corruption that has started to move into The Vale.

MEEPLES & MONSTERS, a competitive bag-building action selection game featuring delightful pre-painted meeple heroes! The Dark Council threatens the city of Rowan and you need to build your party by fighting monsters, improving the city, and levelling up so that you can confront the Dark Council and prove your worthiness to the citizens!
Designed by Ole Steiness, who also designed Champions of Midgard!

EU Depot Has Completed Shipping & Tracking Numbers Have Been Received

AUS/NZ, & Asian Shipments
Fulfillment for Edge of Darkness is nearly complete. We are still waiting to receive tracking numbers for the AUS/NZ and some Asian Depot shipments. As soon as we receive them we will upload them to BackerKit (which will generate a harmless boilerplate notification to you that your order has "shipped").
EU SHIPMENTS COMPLETE, TRACKING NUMBERS RECEIVED, BOILERPLATE EMAILS SENT
We have received confirmation that all orders in the EU have been shipped. We have received tracking numbers and have uploaded them to BackerKit.
When these tracking numbers are uploaded a boilerplate email is transmitted from BackerKit notifying you that your order has shipped. This is NOT A DUPLICATE SHIPMENT and you do not need to take any action.
Edge of Darkness July Shipments for Late Orders
If you completed your order AFTER we closed & locked the Pledge Manager we'll be doing a 2nd round of shipments in July. If your order was processed any time after March you probably have a Late Order.
We are going to be processing these shipments this week now that the EU Depot has checked in.

If you have not received your order, did not receive an email from BackerKit with tracking information, and your order was submitted before the pledge manager was closed & locked (i.e. before the end of March) please email [email protected].
Partial tracking info available for Asian Backers
We have partial tracking information for shipments in Asia. If we have received tracking for your order you will be receiving that notification from BackerKit as well. If we have not yet received tracking information you will not get an email at this time from BackerKit. (Your order may very well have been shipped and/or delivered, we just have not received tracking info yet).

No tracking info for EU and Australia/New Zealand Backers
We are still waiting to receive tracking information for these Depots. We know that many of these shipments have been sent and most backers have received their orders but until we get the final report with tracking numbers we cannot investigate lost or mis-shipped orders.

Edge of Darkness Fall Kickstarter Delayed
We teased you with a postcard telling you something was coming for Edge this year - and we're going to extend that tease a little bit longer. Due to various disruptions and challenges during this unusual year we're making the call to push the next Edge of Darkness Kickstarter forward into the first quarter of 2021. We'll have a lot more information about the future of Edge at that time. For now we hope you all enjoy experiencing Cliffs of Coldharbor!

Fulfillment has Begun!

Defenders of Aegis!
We're pleased to announce that fulfillment has begun for Cliffs of Coldharbor! Our US Depot received inventory earlier this week and has started processing orders. We have not yet received confirmation that the Rewards have reached the EU, Asian or Australian Depots but we expect that soon and the fulfillment out of those Depots should start shortly thereafter.
US Backers will start to receive their rewards next week. It can take quite a few days for the entire shipment to be delivered so don't be concerned if you don't see your order Monday morning. :)
You may receive notice that a shipping label has been printed; that means the warehouse is processing the data needed to pack out the shipments. There can be a substantial delay between when the label is printed and when the order actually ships. Don't be concerned.
You may receive a tracking number via email. Tracking usually is generated for orders in the US but not always especially if your address or delivery situation is "unusual". We do not receive tracking information from the global logistics company until the entire fulfillment process is complete so we won't have those numbers probably until the end of May.
